Summary; Trend is toward higher toxicity of air on readings of Particulate Matter of 2.5 microns
and less. PM 2.5 are small particals, which can enter lung passages and potentially cause
more health risks than larger size particals measured as PM 10.
Readings are in “Good” range during first 5 days of June. Readings enter “Moderate” range
on 7th and 8th, tending toward “Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups” range.
Grand Isle has one reading for 7th of June in “Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups.”
Other 3 readings are in “Moderate” range.
